Full-Time Clinical Nurse - Cardiac/Telemetry Unit

About the role

Provides direct patient care in a full-time, night shift position on a 31-bed Cardiac/Telemetry/Stroke/Neuro unit, focusing on patient assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.
• Participates in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care settings.
• Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, cultural, spiritual, and population-specific considerations.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN licensure.
• Experience: No experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
