About the role
The Telematics Coordinator is a full-time member of the PACS Auto & Fleet team, sitting within the Telematics & Technology function and reporting directly to the Telematics & Technology Specialist. This role is responsible for ensuring the telematics platform operates effectively across a national portfolio of post-acute care, senior living, and hospice facilities.
Responsibilities
- Safety Event Management
- Monitor telematics safety event queues daily across all PACS facilities, reviewing dashcam footage and telematics data for flagged driving behaviors.
- Identify serious events, repeat offenders, and trending safety concerns — escalating to the Telematics & Technology Specialist and Regional Auto Program Managers as appropriate.
- Assign driver coaching events within the telematics platform and track completion by facility administrators.
- Generate weekly and monthly safety event reports for program leadership.
- Driver App Training & Adoption
- Deliver training on the telematics driver app to new and existing drivers across PACS facilities, ensuring each driver understands how to log in, navigate the platform, and respond to coaching events.
- Support facility administrators and drivers with driver app questions, login issues, and platform navigation.
- Track driver app adoption across facilities, identifying those with low engagement and coordinating follow-up training as needed.
- Partner with Regional Auto Program Managers to ensure driver app utilization is maintained on an ongoing basis across all facilities.
- Device Compliance & Health Monitoring
- Monitor telematics device connectivity and health across the full fleet — identifying offline devices, connectivity issues, and cameras requiring attention.
- Maintain a real-time compliance tracker for device status and outstanding action items by facility.
- Escalate persistent technical issues to the Telematics & Technology Specialist for resolution.
- User & Account Management
- Create and manage driver app accounts and fleet administrator accounts for new facilities and drivers across the portfolio.
- Develop and maintain a scalable process for distributing driver login credentials to facilities.
- Audit existing accounts regularly for accuracy, active status, and proper role assignments.
- Support facility administrators with account resets and platform access questions.
- Facility Follow-Up & Compliance Support
- Serve as a primary follow-up contact for telematics-related compliance items, working directly with Regional Program Managers.
- Track onboarding progress for new facilities including account creation, driver app activation, and first login confirmation.
- Partner with Regional Auto Program Managers to ensure telematics compliance is achieved and maintained within onboarding timelines and on an ongoing basis.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Education and/or Experience: 2+ years of experience in a data coordination, operations coordination, fleet operations, or technology platform support role required.
- Strong attention to detail with experience managing high volumes of data, tasks, or cases simultaneously required.
- Comfortable working within software platforms and dashboards — able to learn new systems quickly required.
- Excellent follow-through and organizational skills with a consistent, proactive approach to outreach and tracking required.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with facility staff required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Outlook) required.
- Experience with a telematics, fleet management, or dashcam platform preferred.
- Background in fleet operations, transportation safety, or a compliance-focused role preferred.
- Experience in healthcare, post-acute care, senior living, or a multi-site operations environment preferred.
- Familiarity with safety event review, driver coaching programs, or incident management workflows preferred.
