Responsibilities
- Support patient care virtually within the virtual scope of practice outlined by OMA as well as state and federal regulations
- Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as appropriate on a daily basis
- Implement telehealth policies and procedures as outlined by OMA and the supervising physicians
- Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans
- Order and interpret the results of diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients on continued treatment and care of acute and chronic conditions
- Deliver excellent patient care through diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations with attention to patient-centric care, safety, cost, and reliably accurate information
- Ensure activities are conducted in compliance with federal and state regulations, guidelines, and requirements, including HIPAA
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced and autonomous environment
- Complete all mandatory compliance training and attend mandatory supervising physician meetings in every state where credentialed and practicing

- Recommend improvements to enhance the overall patient experience and care
- Communicate regularly within the team to support excellent patient care
- Maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees to foster a positive work atmosphere
- Present a strong professional appearance for patients, including wearing a provider lab coat while evaluating patients
- Perform the physical, cognitive, and environmental functions of the position as specified in the physical demands
- Comply with company standards of operations and promote a respectful culture of confidentiality
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) and/or Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MMS)
- At least 2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice (e.g., Urgent Care, Occupational Medical Facility, ER, Trauma Unit, or Family Medical Practice)
- Experience as a provider in a relevant practice utilizing a virtual medicine platform preferred
- Active, verifiable license and DEA in good standing with the proper regulatory agency within the state of practice and residence
- Ability to treat patients of all ages and meet credentialing requirements
- DOT certification required to be obtained within 60 days of employment and maintained during employment
