Telecommunications Technician III
About the role
Join our dynamic team as a Telecommunications Technician III supporting the U.S. Air Force. In this onsite role, you will be instrumental in staging, configuring, and shipping network equipment to ensure mission success.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic router and switch configurations
- Maintain and organize network racks and cabinets
- Conduct inventory of network assets
- Assist with lab setup and maintenance
- Collaborate closely with network engineers and project managers to meet tight deadlines
- Troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently
- Uphold safety and security standards
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in networking and telecommunications
- Hands-on experience with network hardware including routers and switches, with basic configuration and troubleshooting skills
- Proven ability in network equipment staging, shipping, and inventory management
- Strong lab support skills and experience collaborating with network engineers
- Relevant certifications or coursework in networking (preferred)
- Active Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship required
- AAS degree or equivalent experience

$37.50 conversion salary: $80,000
Schedule
Minimal/Occasional (CONUS & OCONUS, typically 3–5 day trips)
