Telecommunications Technician III

About the role

Join our dynamic team as a Telecommunications Technician III supporting the U.S. Air Force. In this onsite role, you will be instrumental in staging, configuring, and shipping network equipment to ensure mission success.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic router and switch configurations
• Maintain and organize network racks and cabinets
• Conduct inventory of network assets
• Assist with lab setup and maintenance
• Collaborate closely with network engineers and project managers to meet tight deadlines
• Troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently
• Uphold safety and security standards

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in networking and telecommunications
• Hands-on experience with network hardware including routers and switches, with basic configuration and troubleshooting skills
• Proven ability in network equipment staging, shipping, and inventory management
• Strong lab support skills and experience collaborating with network engineers
• Relevant certifications or coursework in networking (preferred)
• Active Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship required
• AAS degree or equivalent experience

$37.50 conversion salary: $80,000
