Technology Transactions Associate Attorney (Mid-Level)

Our Technology Transactions Practice Group works with global technology leaders, unicorns, and emerging disruptors to guide their most complex and strategic technology and intellectual property transactions. We handle a wide range of cutting-edge industries, including augmented reality and virtual reality, artificial intelligence and robotics, blockchain and distributed ledger, fintech, semiconductors, software, and cloud and as-a-service technologies.

Who You Are

• A 3-6 year associate with a strong knowledge of intellectual property law, including drafting and negotiation experience spanning licenses of software, technology, and content, software and technology development agreements, and professional services agreements;
• Manufacturing, collaboration, and supply and distribution agreements;
• E-commerce, media and entertainment transactions;
• Assisting on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and equity financing transactions, including drafting of transaction agreements and due diligence of contract and IP matters;
• Able to concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form;
• Strong work ethic and excellent leadership skills to help succeed on our team;
• A member of the California Bar (preferred) or other state bar.

Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, health/welfare benefits (including parental, adoption, and fertility benefits), flexible time off, and paid holidays. The range displayed is specifically for positions performed in those cities/states and may vary based on factors including but not limited to the following: market data and ranges; an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience (including class year); and certain degrees, licensing, and certifications. San Francisco, CA annual salary range: $260,000 to $365,000.
