Duties And Responsibilities
- Organize, operate, and maintain computing devices
- Aid faculty and staff with equipment operation and application software
- Maintain and support school related databases required for computer applications
- Maintain and support student and staff accounts for network access and software applications
- Provide informal and formal training to students and staff; assist with the creation and production of training materials
- Maintain computer equipment; troubleshoot for hardware and software problems
- Aid District and school staff with evaluation of software
- Maintain a hardware and software inventory and maintenance records for the school's technology
- Maintain a clean and orderly computer environment as well as any technology throughout the school
- Aid in school web page design and function
- Assist in the purchasing of any technology related items
- Support staff in use and assist in the access of copiers and printing devices
- Support parents and community with school related technology
- Continue education of current technology solutions and attend technology based conferences
- Participate in weekly and monthly technical meetings
- Support STLP - Student Technology Leadership Program coordinators and other technology based programs
- Support Chief Information Officer in implementation and support of technology plan
Physical Demands
- Seldom: Standing/Walking, Sitting, Handle/Finger/Feel, Reach/Push/Pull, Bend/Stoop/Crouch, Kneel/Crawl, Climb/Balance
- Rare: Lift/Carry (Up to 10 lbs.), Over to 100 lbs.
Education And Experience
High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate.
