About the Role

PIMCO is a global leader in active fixed income with deep expertise across public and private markets. We invest our clients’ capital across a range of fixed income and credit opportunities, leveraging our decades of experience navigating complex debt markets. This position is based five days on-site in our New York office and involves full-cycle recruitment for our Technology function, including proactive engagement with senior technology leaders to understand business needs, strategic talent sourcing, and collaboration with HR colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for a range of technical roles, including Technology, Quantitative Analytics, and related functions, with primary ownership for the Global Technology function across geographies and seniority levels.
• Advise senior stakeholders on talent acquisition processes, including market intelligence, sourcing strategies, search execution, candidate Q&A, and offer negotiation.
• Identify and implement creative, impactful, and cost-effective sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
• Source, screen, and assess candidates for open positions at all levels, both for active requisitions and opportunistic hiring.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective candidates, business unit leaders, and HR colleagues.
• Execute search strategies and workflows in collaboration with senior management, including direct sourcing and search firm engagement.
• Partner with the Compensation team, HR Business Partner, and hiring teams to formulate and deliver offers.
• Provide direction to Recruiting Associates on job postings, interview scheduling, feedback collection, and onboarding activities.
• Collaborate with campus recruiting and EMEA talent acquisition teams to share best practices and ensure seamless service.
• Maintain accuracy, quality, and integrity of recruiting information in PIMCO’s ATS.
• Share best practices and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Partner with the broader Talent Acquisition function to evolve AI implementation in recruiting processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience hiring technology professionals, including developers/engineers, project managers, and business analysts; financial services experience preferred, with exposure to quantitative or analytics profiles a plus.
• Client-centric, highly collaborative, and team-first attitude.
• Process-oriented with the ability to proactively track industry themes and tie them to talent flows and search strategy.
• Proactive in sourcing and assessing candidates, with strong interviewing and assessment skills, a keen eye for top talent, and the ability to influence and close candidates in competitive situations.
• Excellent client relationship management skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive impactful results.
• Highly motivated, organized self-starter with the ability to prioritize competing demands, adapt to changing business needs, and engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with ATS (Workday preferred), recruiting tools (CRM), and AI/automation.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Pay

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach, including a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is based on company, business, team, and individual performance. Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00.
