About the Role
A long-term contract Program Manager position overseeing cross-functional technology initiatives with a focus on cloud-focused planning, delivery governance, and coordination across business and technical stakeholders in a Microsoft Azure-centered environment.
Responsibilities
- Direct enterprise technology programs from initiation through execution, aligning timelines, resources, risks, and business goals across multiple workstreams.
- Manage cloud-related initiatives within a Microsoft Azure ecosystem, ensuring plans, dependencies, and delivery milestones are clearly defined and tracked.
- Coordinate data center to cloud migration activities, working with technical teams to organize sequencing, readiness, and issue resolution throughout the program lifecycle.
- Lead Agile delivery practices by facilitating planning sessions, status reviews, and cross-functional collaboration to keep projects moving effectively.
- Monitor program health through reporting, risk management, and stakeholder communications, providing clear visibility into progress, blockers, and next steps.
- Partner with infrastructure, application, and business teams to translate strategic objectives into actionable project plans and measurable outcomes.
- Use project management tools such as Jira to maintain schedules, workflows, and documentation that support accurate execution and governance.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading IT programs or large-scale projects in a program management or senior project management capacity.
- Strong working knowledge of broad technology domains, including infrastructure, cloud platforms, and enterprise delivery practices.
- Hands-on experience managing initiatives in Microsoft Azure environments.
- Background supporting or leading data migration or data center migration efforts is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Agile Scrum methodologies and project tracking tools such as Atlassian Jira.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials are preferred.
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams.
