- Translate customer needs into crisp product requirements, specs, and user experience workflows in close collaboration with engineering and UX.
- Partner with product marketing and sales to create compelling collaterals, drive early customer adoption, and accelerate VCF deployments.
- Engage with open-source communities (CNCF/Kubernetes) and represent VMware at industry forums, VMUGs, and conferences.
- Lead deep-dive discovery sessions with global enterprise customers and partners to validate product direction and build feedback loops.
Requirements
- Product management experience in enterprise cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, platform engineering, or virtualization.
- Deep Kubernetes & Cloud-Native Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with K8s control plane architecture, Cluster API, scheduling, CNI/CSI, and the broader CNCF ecosystem alongside vSphere/ESXi.
- Cloud infrastructure and DevOps Knowledge: Good understanding of private and public cloud infrastructure, including Compute, Storage and Networking, and modern DevOps models.
- Technical Depth: Demonstrated ability to converse comfortably with principal engineers and enterprise cloud architects.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven track record of guiding products from concept through launch alongside engineering, UX, and GTM teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to customers and technical audiences.
