Technology Director

About This Role

The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group provides technology solutions and support for Risk, Audit, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Corporate Properties, and Stakeholder Relations business lines. In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Enterprise Data Management. Enterprise Risk, Audit, and Finance Technology (ERAFT) is responsible for providing the Chief Risk Officer, Chief Auditor, and Chief Financial Officer with technology strategy, development, and delivery of technical and analytics capabilities in support of their business and product priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of product managers and product owners
• Define and execute product strategy and roadmap aligned to enterprise priorities
• Drive delivery of enterprise platforms supporting Risk, Audit, and Finance
• Build support for product strategies with business and technology leaders
• Establish product governance, prioritization, and funding alignment processes
• Partner with engineering and architecture teams to deliver scalable, resilient platforms
• Ensure strong risk management, regulatory compliance, and control alignment within products
• Lead modernization of legacy platforms into integrated, enterprise product solutions
• Drive adoption of product operating model, including agile and outcome-based delivery
• Collaborate and influence senior leadership across multiple functions
• Manage allocation of product and financial resources
• Develop and guide a culture of product excellence, innovation, and accountability

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in product management, technology, or related field
• 4+ years of management or leadership experience
• 6+ years of experience working in large financial services organizations of 100k+ employees
• Strong understanding of Risk, Audit, or Finance functions
