What You’ll Do Every Day
- Turn ideas and early-stage technical concepts into development projects.
- Collaborate with relevant internal team members, sponsors, and stakeholders as well as customers to create and align technical execution plan and deliverables.
- Lead activities for concept generation with strong technical problem-solving skills.
- Lead and execute work project-related activities needed to achieve technical project objectives, with a strong understanding of resources, skills, and timing.
- Anticipate, assess, and mitigate technical project risks and provide visibility to cross-functional leadership clearly and concisely.
- Lead customer interaction on technical deliverables comfortably and confidently.
- Communicate complex information concisely and clearly to all levels of collaborators, including customers, team members, and others.
- Facilitate and make technical decisions on projects (i.e. vendor selection, critical to quality on the design, concept selection, etc.).
- Mentor engineers on the team throughout project execution to conduct engineering analysis on material, designs, concepts, and the associated research.
- Establish strong ownership of all project reporting/communication and governance requirements, internally and externally, at peer and executive levels (e.g. project status, resource planning, KPIs).
- Establish strong ownership of the full project life cycle, driving successful results through leadership from initiation to deployment and closure of the project.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor degree in engineering or related field strongly preferred; Other relevant postsecondary education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree; master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience in.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification helpful.
- Proficient with new technology development; understands relevant technologies (materials, manufacturing processes, test methods) to lead discussions with project team, stakeholders, and customers.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to broad audiences.
- Consistently demonstrates creativity in applying engineering principles to solve complex problems.
- Ability to make data driven decisions utilizing statistical tools such as DOE, tolerance stack-up analysis, or Minitab.
- Strong independent problem-solving skills and active work to coach others in this area.
- Capable of creating a plan to solve complex technical problems and lead others to resolutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex technical topics to customers.
- Established cross-functional relationships and can influence to drive results.
- Clearly communicate the need for continuous improvement and champions change within the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with a diverse group of project stakeholders including customers, executives, peers, managers, and other subject matter experts.
- Proven competence in completing projects according to established scope, budget, and timelines.
- Extensive experience in risk assessment and mitigation activities.
Pay & Benefits
Medevio is committed to providing competitive total compensation and benefits packages. The expected hiring range for this position is between $100,000 and $130,000 based upon a full-time schedule and the level of position hired. This is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. Base salaries are determined by taking a variety of factors in account, including, but not limited to, candidate qualifications, geographic locations, market conditions and internal equity. This position is bonus eligible, with a target bonus of 10%.
The total compensation package includes eligibility for comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with company match, education reimbursement, paid parental leave and paid time off.
