Technology Center Technician
About the role
Ingersoll Cutting Tools is seeking a Technology Center Technician to join our dynamic team. The Technology Center Technician will utilize their expertise in CNC machining and CAM programming to provide demonstrations showcasing Ingersoll Cutting Tools’ technology and capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate various CNC machines to produce parts for demonstrations.
- Train others in set-up and operation of various CNC machines.
- Create toolpaths using CAM software as directed.
- Identify and program tools for cutting ferrous, non-ferrous, stainless steel, and HRSA materials.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Prepare demonstrations for live audiences.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving machine issues.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Perform basic machine maintenance tasks.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new processes and machining techniques.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a CNC manufacturing environment or CNC certificate.
- Understanding of CNC toolholder types and CNC workholding systems.
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience programming and operating CNC mills and/or lathes.
- Proficient with FANUC NC controls and Experience with Fusion 360, PowerMill, PowerShape, Feature CAM, Part Maker is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and professional attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certificate, diploma, or degree in manufacturing engineering or relevant manufacturing discipline.
- Basic understanding of part tolerances and GD&T.
- Understanding and calculating of NC tooling speeds and feeds.
- Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $19-29 per hour, depending on experience level. This is an on-site, full-time position that may require intermittent overtime based on workflow demands (including potential for long shifts and/or weekend work).
