Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair computer, laptops, tablets, printers, and other technologies.
- Aid and advise faculty and staff with technical questions and issues over the phone, in person, or remotely as part of the Enterprise Service Desk.
- Aid and advise students with technical questions and issues over the phone, in person, or remotely as part of the Student Help Desk.
- Provide customer support and technical assistance for various college events, which may involve working with external organizations using college facilities.
- Aid with printing posters, banners, and duplicating CDs/DVDs.
- Aid with preventative maintenance in network closets throughout the college.
- Aid with technology repairs, setups, hardware and software installations and configurations in labs, classrooms, and offices.
- Utilize Microsoft 365 tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Use KACE ticketing software to track work and project requests.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma.
- Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to handle stressful situations with patience.
- Must have good time management skills and a strong work ethic.
- Must have a background in technology or be willing to learn new technology skills.
- Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
- Must be positive, cooperative, and supportive.

Hours Needed
Variable depending on need, may include some Saturdays and evenings.

The hourly rate of pay for this student employment position is $15.00 per hour.
