Technologist - PRN II

Job Summary Performs imaging procedures and treatments aligned with radiology standards to support diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Handles additional duties as assigned. Responsibilities Applies fundamental radiologic principles and selects appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.Develops and implements procedure and treatment plans following hospital protocols.Completes documentation to ensure compliance with policies.Maintains equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition to ensure patient and staff safety.Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold care standards.Achieves assigned goals. Qualifications & Skills Minimum 6 months experience in the specialty area to meet CT competencies.Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography required; CT registration preferred.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.Basic computer literacy skills.State licensure as required; BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ARRT(R).Preferred: ARRT(CT) certification.
