Technologist - PRN II

Job Summary Performs imaging procedures and treatments in accordance with radiology standards to assist in diagnosing and treating diseases. Executes assigned duties as needed. Responsibilities Applies radiologic principles and selects appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.Develops and implements personalized procedure and treatment plans following hospital protocols.Completes documentation to ensure compliance with policies.Maintains equipment and work areas to ensure safety and cleanliness for patients and staff.Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold quality standards.Achieves assigned goals effectively. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 6 months of experience in the specialty area, meeting CT competencies.Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography required; ARRT in CT preferred.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.Basic computer literacy skills.State licensure as required; BLS certification within 14 days; ARRT(R) certification required; ARRT(CT) preferred.
