Technologist - MRI Float Pool

Job Summary Performs imaging procedures and treatments in accordance with radiology standards to assist in diagnosis and therapy. Executes assigned duties as needed. Responsibilities Applies radiologic principles with appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.Develops and implements procedure or treatment plans following hospital protocols.Completes documentation to ensure compliance with policies.Maintains equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition.Participates in performance improvement initiatives to uphold patient care standards.Achieves assigned goals effectively. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 6 months of experience in the specialty area with MRI competencies by the end of orientation.Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R), with MRI registry preferred.Basic computer literacy required; additional training or certifications preferred.Licensure including ARRT(R), BLS certification within 14 days of hire, and state licensing as required; MRI certification preferred.
