Technologist - MRI Float Pool

About the role

Performs imaging procedures and treatments in accordance with radiology standards to aid in diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Handles additional assigned duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates thorough understanding of radiologic principles and applies appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
• Develops and implements procedure and treatment plans following hospital protocols.
• Completes documentation to ensure compliance with policies.
• Maintains equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition for patient and staff safety.
• Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold patient care standards.
• Achieves assigned goals effectively.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 6 months of experience in the specialty area to meet MRI competencies.
• Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R); MRI registry (ARRT MR) preferred.
• Basic computer literacy skills required; advanced skills preferred.
• Licenses include ARRT(R), BLS certification within 14 days of hire, and state license as required.
• MRI certification preferred.
