Technologist - MRI Float Pool

About the role

This position performs imaging procedures and treatments following radiology standards to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include applying radiologic principles, selecting appropriate techniques, developing and implementing treatment plans, and completing necessary documentation. The role also involves maintaining equipment and work areas to ensure safety, participating in performance improvement activities, and achieving set goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience in the specialty, meeting MRI competencies
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R); ARRT(MR) preferred
• Basic computer literacy skills
• Licensure including ARRT(R), BLS certification within 14 days of hire, and state licensing as required
• New graduates must obtain the registry within 60 days of hire; ARRT(MR) preferred
