Technologist - MRI Float Pool

Role Overview Performs imaging procedures and treatments in accordance with radiology standards to support diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Handles additional duties as assigned. Key Responsibilities Applies a thorough understanding of radiologic principles and uses appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.Develops and implements procedure and treatment plans following established protocols.Completes documentation to ensure compliance with hospital policies.Maintains equipment, procedure rooms, and work areas in a safe, clean condition for patient and staff safety.Participates in performance improvement activities to ensure quality patient care.Achieves assigned goals effectively. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 6 months experience in the specialty area, meeting MRI competencies.Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R); MRI registry (ARRT MR) preferred.Basic computer literacy skills required; advanced skills preferred.Licensure: ARRT(R), BLS certification within 14 days of hire, and state license if required. MRI certification preferred.
