Technologist - MRI Float Pool

Job Summary Performs imaging procedures and treatments following radiology standards to assist in diagnosis and therapy. Executes assigned duties as needed. Responsibilities Applies radiologic principles, selecting appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.Develops and implements personalized procedure or treatment plans in accordance with hospital protocols.Completes documentation to ensure compliance with policies.Maintains cleanliness and safety of equipment and work areas to protect patients and staff.Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold quality standards.Achieves assigned goals effectively. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 6 months experience in the specialty area to meet MRI competencies.Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), with ARRT(MR) preferred.Basic computer literacy skills required; additional preferred skills may enhance performance.Licensure includes ARRT(R), BLS certification within 14 days of hire, and state licensing as needed; ARRT(MR) preferred.
