Technologist - Echocardiographer PRN

Job Summary Performs imaging procedures and treatments in accordance with radiology standards to assist in diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Executes other assigned duties as needed. Responsibilities Demonstrates thorough knowledge of radiologic principles, selecting appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.Develops and implements procedure or treatment plans following hospital protocols.Completes documentation to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.Maintains equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition to ensure patient and staff safety.Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold care standards.Achieves assigned goals efficiently. Qualifications & Skills Recent experience as a Sonographer preferred.Registered with ARDMS, CCI, or RVT, or a new graduate awaiting certification; proof required within 60 days.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.Basic computer literacy skills.Licensure with ARDMS, CCI, or RVT is preferred; new graduates must obtain certification within 12 months.
