About the role
The role involves performing imaging procedures in accordance with radiology standards to support diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of radiologic principles
- Select appropriate techniques
- Develop and implement procedure plans
- Ensure proper documentation
- Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe, neat condition
- Participate in performance improvement activities
- Achieve assigned goals
Qualifications
- Recent sonography experience
- ARDMS or equivalent certification (or pending)
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- Basic computer skills required
Physical and environmental requirements
- May involve supervising staff
- Physical activity: standing, walking, lifting, pushing
- Environmental factors: exposure to blood-borne pathogens, chemicals, and radiation (safety precautions in place)
