Echocardiography Technologist PRN

Schedule

• PRN, Days
• Call required one weekend a month with option to take call through the week
• Able to work at least 2 days a week
• Primary position at Gordon, but also able to cover at Murray

Responsibilities

• Sets up and adjust all cardiac imaging equipment and manually maneuver transducers to perform exams
• Implements safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures
• Performs routine and complex studies and assists physicians in various imaging procedures
• Recognizes significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations
• Troubleshoots and resolves equipment issues to maintain operational efficiency
• Participates in continuing education and training to stay current with advancements in the field
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Associate degree [Required]
• Bachelor's degree [Preferred]
• 1+ year experience in a hospital environment [Preferred]

Certifications

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• American Registry for Diagnostic Sonography-Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RCDS) [Required] OR
• American Registry for Diagnostic Sonography-Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) [Required] OR
• Cardiovascular Credentialing International-Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) [Required] OR
• Cardiovascular Credentialing International-Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) [Required]

$27.41 - $50.99
