About the role

Performs imaging procedures and treatments aligning with radiology standards to support diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Assists with additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Applies comprehensive knowledge of radiologic principles, choosing appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
  • Develops and implements procedure/treatment plans following hospital protocols.
  • Documents procedures accurately to ensure compliance with policies.
  • Maintains equipment, rooms, and work areas in a safe, clean condition for patient and staff safety.
  • Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold patient care standards.
  • Completes assigned goals efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months experience in the specialty area to meet all CT competencies.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography; CT registration preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • State licensure as required; ARRT(R) certification; BLS certification within 14 days.
