Surgical Technologist - Day Shift

Role Overview: A Surgical Technologist supports surgical procedures by assisting surgeons, preparing sterile equipment, and ensuring patient safety. Key Responsibilities Assist during surgeries, including setup, aseptic techniques, and instrument management.Coordinate treatments with multidisciplinary teams and provide basic patient assistance.Verify surgical sites, maintain accurate supply and specimen documentation, and ensure proper disposal of sharps and linens.Assess wounds, change sterile dressings, and participate in patient admission/discharge processes.Maintain universal precautions, initiate emergency procedures, and perform billing and quality control tasks.Act as a preceptor for students and participate in on-call rotations.Perform additional duties such as specimen collection, patient transport, and post-mortem care under supervision. Qualifications & Skills: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required, with a specialty training program completion. Must adhere to policies and demonstrate competencies in sterile techniques, safety, and teamwork.
