Radiology Technologist- Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and can identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
• Positions patients to produce a radiograph as prescribed by a qualified physician.
• Provides immobilization devices as required.
• Adjusts controls of equipment as needed to produce a radiograph as prescribed by a qualified physician.
• Administers drugs or chemical mixtures orally or as enemas to render organs opaque.
• Provides radiation protection as needed per exam.
• Processes films by either automatic or hand processing.
• Transports patients to and from patients waiting area and/or patient rooms, assuming responsibility for their safety.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent and satisfactory completion of a formal radiological technology training program in an AMA-approved school.
• Certification through the National Registry American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current BLS Certification required.
• Current Washington State Certification is required.

0.75 FTE / 30 hours per week

Pay

Salary Range: $38.64 – $56.08 per hour
