Technologist - Day Shift

About the Role

Performs imaging procedures and treatments in accordance with radiology standards to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Executes assigned duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Applies radiologic principles and selects appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
• Develops and implements procedure/treatment plans following hospital protocols.
• Completes documentation to ensure compliance with policies.
• Maintains equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition for patient and staff safety.
• Participates in quality improvement activities to uphold care standards.
• Achieves set goals within the department.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months experience in the specialty area.
• Registered by ARRT in Radiography; CT registration preferred.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Basic computer skills required; state licensure as needed.
