Technician, Repair- Grader

About the role

An instrument repair cleaner/grade job at Music & Arts involves detailing, cleaning, and grading rental instruments to serve as the final quality control check before they are moved to distribution.

Responsibilities

• Detail and clean instruments in a timely manner based on production standards
• Report quality control rejects
• Perform general warehouse and distribution tasks
• Responsible for QC and grading of instruments in a timely matter based on established production standards
• Accessorize the instrument, assign the proper grade, and prepare the instrument for distribution
• Report QC rejects on a daily basis
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Apprenticeship or a diploma for an accredited repair school is required
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably within a production or distribution center environment
• Intermediate proficiency with mechanical tools used for instrument qualification and repair
• Intermediate proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
