Technician II, Long Oligo - Mon - Fri, 11:00am - 7:30pm

About the role

As a Technician II (Formulation) at Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), you will formulate custom oligonucleotides according to customer specifications. This includes quantification, final packaging, and QC sampling of products. This on-site position is part of the Long Oligo Value Stream in Coralville, IA, and reports to the Supervisor, Long Oligo.

Responsibilities

• Use automated and manual lab equipment accurately, including limited maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
• Translate order requirements into a process to formulate oligos to the customer’s specifications.
• Assess QC data accurately and make pass/fail decisions for oligos.

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Some laboratory experience.
• Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher.
• 12 months of lab experience; Life Science work experience preferred.
• Extensive computer skills, including knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.

Monday - Friday, 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM.
