About the role
This position reports to the Overnight Supervisor and is part of the Long Oligo Value Stream located in Coralville, Iowa. It is an on-site role.
- Perform manufacturing tasks to transform raw materials into final products, including decontamination processes, product transfer, and instrument maintenance and logging.
- Operate laboratory instruments to complete tasks by following all work instructions and adhering to all company policies and procedures.
- Strictly adhere to customer-specific as well as general work instructions and SOPs.
- Utilize, maintain, and troubleshoot automated liquid handlers and bench-top equipment.
- Assess QC data accurately and make pass/fail decisions for oligos.
- Follow SOPs and custom flows for special processing orders.
- Support daily management of processes and products, including assessment to drive problem-solving with data and suggestion of countermeasures.
Requirements
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Some laboratory experience.
- Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher.
- 12 months of lab experience; life science work experience preferred.
- Extensive computer skills, including knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
