About the role

The Manufacturing Technician I will perform a variety of processing duties according to batch records and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in the manufacturing department, including weighing, granulation, compression, blending, and coating.

Responsibilities

  • Report process or equipment problems to supervisor and perform minor or basic troubleshooting.
  • Ensure batch records, equipment log books, and other relevant records are current.
  • Set up and operate equipment for processing operations.
  • Clean and maintain processing rooms and equipment.
  • Monitor process and equipment, making necessary adjustments to maintain batch record specifications.
  • Monitor product quality.
  • Follow established department GMPs, SOPs, and batch records.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or lead.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in a team-based environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with FDA or other regulatory standards.
  • Experience using high-speed mixers, dryers, Fitz mills, Sweco, scales, and tablet presses.
  • Knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
