The team oversees exterior maintenance operations across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. They coordinate assignments, optimize resources, and implement improvements aligned with business objectives. Providing technical expertise and training, the team maintains equipment quality and operational efficiency. Collaborating with stakeholders, they drive continuous enhancements and adapt to evolving challenges.
Responsibilities
- Manage department operations, including planning work assignments and prioritizing projects to ensure timely completion.
- Prepare and execute budgets by developing cost estimates and approving purchases of parts, materials, and equipment.
- Provide technical assistance and consultation to support procurement and verify receipt and acceptance of purchases.
- Lead third-party providers through coaching and performance evaluations to maintain quality standards.
- Perform seasonal exterior maintenance, snow and ice management, and equipment operation following safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company policies, maintaining safe and sustainable facility conditions.
- Maintain vehicles and equipment, conducting inspections and coordinating required maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns, ensuring work meets quality and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing facility services with strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to prepare and execute budgets, including cost estimation and purchase approvals.
- Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Skilled in operating and maintaining powered equipment and vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service abilities to resolve facility-related issues.
- Experience leading third-party providers and conducting quality assurance inspections.
- Commitment to upholding company policies, ethics, and integrity in all work activities.
- Ability to plan and prioritize work assignments while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid, state-issued driver’s license.
- No convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol or drugs within the last three (3) years.
- No more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years, if driving a commercial motor vehicle.
- No serious traffic violations (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the last three (3) years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle.
- No preventable accidents (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the last three (3) years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle.
- Able to successfully complete a DOT physical and secure medical certification at a minimum of a 90-day card.
- Ability to read and speak in the English language, as required by section 391.11(b)(2) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Maintenance, Construction Management, or related area.
- Experience in third-party management.
- Experience using intermediate-level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- State/local licensing where required (e.g., Florida, Texas, California).

PTO and/or PPTO amounts depend on job classification and length of employment, meeting or exceeding paid sick leave laws where applicable.
Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
