About the role
The primary responsibility of this role is to inspect and confirm new or modified equipment and prepare that equipment for manufacturing production. You will handle on-site robot programming and interlocking, confirm that new model equipment meets set standards and performs as intended, and support weld machine Seibi activity at North Manufacturing Companies from installation to start of production. Additionally, you will develop equipment countermeasures during setup/trials and must be able to rent a vehicle (valid driver’s license required). HM is open to candidates who are fresh out of college as well as those with some experience.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and confirm new or modified equipment for manufacturing production readiness
- Perform on-site robot programming and interlocking
- Confirm new model equipment meets set standards and performs as intended
- Prepare and confirm new Body weld equipment at vendors
- Support weld machine Seibi activity from installation to start of production
- Develop equipment countermeasures during setup and trials
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Maintenance or a related field
- 3+ years of automotive experience
- Experience with mentoring and/or technical training
- Valid driver’s license (ability to rent a vehicle)
Pay
$38.51/hour
Schedule
