HydroAir, an Applied Fluid Power subsidiary, is seeking a Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll inspect products and apply your knowledge and experience with Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Hydraulic, and/or Pneumatic assemblies to ensure customer satisfaction and support our sales team.
Responsibilities
- Visually verify product compliance to customer and company specifications.
- Functionally verify product performance to defined test criteria.
- Utilize hand and power tools, electronic and pneumatic testing fixtures, and devices.
- Complete department work assignments in a timely manner.
- Create rework instructions or redline documentation and communicate corrective action direction to appropriate parties when necessary.
- Shift work assignment priorities as needed and directed.
- Maintain organization of tools and work station cleanliness.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in component-level troubleshooting and repair.
- 1+ year of working knowledge of all brands of pumps, valves, motors, and cylinders.
- 1+ year of working knowledge of troubleshooting hydraulic circuits.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work from drawings, prints, schematics, diagrams, bills of materials, customer specifications, and written/verbal instructions.
- Bending tube and pipe experience is a plus.
- General welding skills are a bonus.
Pay
The typical estimated total compensation for this position is $14.00–$18.00 per hour.
