Technician Assembly Test - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and finish production components to specifications
  • Perform functional tests
  • Recognize and report defective parts with little to no supervision
  • Assemble various critical tolerance hydraulic assembly components while following work instructions, blueprints, and specifications
  • Finish applications such as lockwire, sealant, and paint touch-up
  • Install identification plates, grease fittings, clamps, and zip ties
  • Use a variety of hand tools and precision measuring instruments to monitor and verify drawing/work order requirements
  • Maintain quality in accordance with manufacturing planning, quality plans, and engineering drawings
  • Calibrate pressure gauges and transducers per Acceptance Test Procedure requirements
  • Complete acceptance test procedures with little to no supervision
  • Utilize the correct tooling and standard practices to ensure part quality
  • Meet production deadlines by following manufacturing schedule and procedures
  • Work with support resources and cell leaders to resolve production problems
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety policies
  • Contribute to risk mitigation management teams
  • Keep all work areas clean
  • Contribute to team effort by maintaining a positive attitude
  • Strive to improve the manufacturing process
  • Participate in FOD, 5S, TPM, PM, and Process Improvement programs

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • General mechanical knowledge or background required
  • Assembly Test Technician I: Meets minimum education and mechanical knowledge requirements
  • Assembly Test Technician II: Minimum requirements plus two years of hands-on mechanical assembly experience, or two years of proven proficiency in a similar industrial environment
  • Assembly Test Technician III: Minimum requirements plus four years of hands-on mechanical assembly experience, or four years of proven proficiency in a similar industrial environment
  • Preferred Knowledge and Skills: Ability to perform applied math calculations used in mechanical assembly, familiarity with precision measuring devices, ability to read and interpret part drawings/blueprints, intermediate computer skills, and ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics

Position Pay Range

Pay Range: $20.62 – $32.00 Per Hour.
