Technician/Advisor

About the role

The Tech-Advisor plays a key role in delivering a superior customer experience by supporting VIP programs and standards. They work collaboratively with team members, serving customers at the counter as a service writer and in the shop as a technician when needed. The role emphasizes effective communication, organization, and industry knowledge, with a focus on exceeding customer engagement and productivity goals.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers about vehicle conditions
• Perform vehicle services
• Support facility and equipment maintenance
• Complete necessary automotive and customer service training
• Obtain and maintain certifications such as ASE and T.I.A.
• Maintain safety and procedural compliance

Requirements

• At least one year of automotive experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE, T.I.A.)

Work Environment

The position involves indoor service areas with exposure to varying conditions. It requires physical activity, proper safety gear, and keen visual acuity.
