As a Trek Service Technician/Advisor, no one day is the same as the last. This job is all about caring for bikes so their owners love riding them. You'll troubleshoot repairs and service all kinds of bikes on the spot and install the awesome accessories customers select for their new bike! You'll also be the first to have your hands on brand new models before they hit the sales floor. Most importantly, you'll build relationships with people who trust you to keep their gear running flawlessly. This role closely supports the Service Manager. When the Service Manager is not available, you are the face of the department to customers. We're looking for a teammate with stellar customer service chops and a willingness to learn. Because you'll constantly be speaking with customers to evaluate issues and recommend repairs, we value fantastic hospitality skills above prior shop experience. This role requires elevated skills in communication, leadership and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot repairs and service all types of bicycles
• Install accessories on new bikes
• Work on brand new models before they reach the sales floor
• Build relationships with customers and maintain their trust
• Support the Service Manager and act as the face of the service department when the manager is unavailable
• Communicate with customers to evaluate issues and recommend repairs
• Provide exceptional hospitality and customer service

Requirements

• Self-motivation, positive team-focused mentality, willingness to pitch in on any task
• Fantastic hospitality: warm, approachable manner, great listening skills, drive to help even on toughest days
• Top-notch communication skills
• Impressive attention to detail and love for tinkering until problems are solved
• Eagerness to learn bicycle servicing inside and out
• Desire to continually learn proper service methods and new technologies

Pay

Hourly rate: $17.00 – $22.00
