Technical Writer III
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer III to support the development, editing, coordination, and production of technical reports, briefings, presentations, and other mission-critical documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong technical editing and writing skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience working with engineering and technical teams in a fast-paced, multi-person environment.
Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for preparing materials for a variety of audiences, including senior government officials, and handling classified and sensitive information, including document marking, reproduction, and destruction.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience editing technical reports, briefings, presentations, and other technical documentation for a variety of audiences, including senior government officials
- Experience working with engineering and technical personnel to coordinate report production and ensure accurate and timely deliverables
- Experience handling classified and sensitive documents, including proper marking, reproduction, distribution, handling, and destruction
- Strong technical editing, proofreading, and document production skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies, errors, and formatting issues
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively with technical, engineering, management, and government personnel
- Active Q Clearance required
Qualifications
The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Business Administration, Language Arts, Journalism, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field, and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience performing and expediting editing and report production activities within a multi-person organization.

Pay
Salary: Up to $155,000
