About the role
You will support the global Product Line by producing high-quality technical documentation appropriate for its intended audience in multiple publication formats, contributing to the overall product line success. You will collaborate with teams, engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts to make our products easier and safer to install, operate, and service. You will take technical data, drawings, diagrams, and instructions to produce documentation with clear intent and communication.
Responsibilities
- Service documentation development, maintenance, and publishing of bulletins, instructions, installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and parts manuals.
- Participate in and support NPI and other development teams.
- Interpret engineering data for use by non-technical users and technical maintenance and repair personnel.
- Create line drawings, diagrams, and reference photos to provide quick and easy understanding.
- Communicate product changes and documentation revisions to internal teams, customers, and online resources to ensure the latest revisions are always available.
- Monitor engineering changes and use information to create or update literature and parts manuals.
- Work with subject-matter experts to gather information and identify relevant data.
Requirements
- Technical Degree and a minimum of 3 years of previous experience, or a minimum of 5 years of previous technical documentation experience in lieu of education.
- Ability to deliver high-quality documentation with attention to detail, developing clear and user-friendly documents and graphics.
- Format and typeset service literature and prepare files for print and website publication.
- Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and industry terminology, making them easily understandable in written and visual formats.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read engineering documents, drawings, and bills of material.

Pay
For this full-time position, the anticipated annualized base pay range is $61,200 - $113,600 per year. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience, pertinent education, work location, and other relevant business needs. This position may also be eligible for an annual incentive bonus and other forms of compensation.
