Technical Training Manager - GMP AAV MFG

Responsibilities

• Serve as the SME and technical lead for GMP Manufacturing operations, delivering training through various instructional methods
• Mentor associates, observing performance and ensuring their transition to independent work
• Cook up qualification and requalification activities, documenting results per GDP compliance
• Provide actionable feedback on training progress and performance to management
• Ensure compliance with GMP/GDP through accurate documentation and consistent training standards enforcement
• Oversee and ensure accuracy in recordkeeping using the Training Management System, such as Veeva Vault
• Develop and maintain training programs in collaboration with Manufacturing leadership

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in GMP-regulated manufacturing, specifically AAV bioprocess manufacturing
• Experience in leading training activities and mentoring associates as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
• Ability to deliver hands-on training and conduct qualification assessments per GMP/GDP standards
• Advanced communication skills to engage diverse audiences and simplify technical concepts
• Strong organizational skills with multi-priority management experience
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and training design methodologies

Pay

$90,000 – $110,000 annually
