Technical Training Instructor

About the role

This position supports a training program for technical research, development, and engineering by providing instructional expertise to newly developed courses.

Responsibilities

• Support the onboarding course that will be approximately four weeks long and run approximately six times per year.
• Teach and deliver to adult learners within the IC, including blended and distance learning solutions.
• Carry out training evaluations and support the creation of various training products such as guides, handbooks, and job aids.
• Assist with asserting student performance, monitoring progress, and providing feedback.
• Affirm the training team with course reviews and modifications between course runnings.

Requirements

• Must currently hold an Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree, or relevant experience may be substituted.
• 5 years of experience within the IC in Targeting.
• 1 year of experience teaching or delivering to adult learners within the IC.
• 18 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to tailor communication and facilitate small and large groups of people with diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to adopt new technologies for knowledge management and/or tailor technology to support learning needs.
• Demonstrated ability as a self-starter, to team effectively, regularly work outside your comfort zone, and adapt to emerging technologies and evolving requirements.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems, Collaboration Tools, MS OneNote, WordPress, Adobe Captive, and Multimedia tools including the Adobe Creative suite.
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment and partnering across the IC.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience within the IC in Targeting.
• 1+ year of experience teaching or delivering to adult learners within the IC.
• 18+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to tailor communication and facilitate diverse groups.
• Ability to adopt and utilize new technologies for learning.
• Self-starter with teamwork and adaptability skills.
• Familiarity with specified software and tools.
• Collaborative team environment experience.

Pay

The potential salary range for this position is $200,001 - $240,000, based on experience and other factors.

Schedule

Full-time, day shift, no travel required.
