Technical Training Admin- Natural Gas and Safety

Now Hiring Mirra Co, a family-owned utility construction firm with headquarters in Georgetown MA, is looking for candidates that are experienced in Natural Gas Utility industry. An ideal candidate will have utility, construction, training, or operations experience. The Technical Training Administrator reports to the Training Manager and Gas Operations Director. As a Technical Training Administrator, you will help develop the knowledge, skills, and field performance of natural gas professionals. You will work with the Training Manager, Gas Operations Director, supervisors, and field personnel to identify training needs and help employees successfully apply classroom learning in the field. Responsibilities Include Conduct hands-on natural gas training and qualification testingWork directly with technicians, foremen, supervisors, and field personnel to strengthen technical knowledge and job performanceConduct observations in classroom and field to help bridge the gap between classroom training and real-world field applicationMonitor employees’ OQ statuses and assist in scheduling them for reevaluationAdapt to changing Training and Testing protocols to stay ahead of industry expectationsProvide technical solutions to improve or enhance performancePerform audits to Identify training needsReview customer O&M and understand requirementsAdhere to compliance needs and documentation Preferred But Not Required Previous experience training, coaching, or developing employeesOperator QualificationsExperience conducting hands-on evaluations or assessmentsFamiliarity with O&M proceduresMicrosoft experience Education, Skills, And Experience High School diploma or equivalent is preferredMust pass pre-employment random drug screenMust pass background and Mass CORI checkOSHA 10 certification in construction is preferred5+ years of experience in the utility construction industry is preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay is based on experience and skill level and have opportunity to negotiate pay rate.
