Technical Support Specialist
About the role
TEKsystems is seeking an experienced IT Technician for an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced environment. The role offers exposure to enterprise-level technologies and a wide range of platforms, hands-on ownership, and opportunities to build long-term career growth in IT.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary support resource for help desk and IT related issues
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Manage and resolve tickets while maintaining SLAs and best practices
- Own new hire onboarding, including account creation and equipment setup
- Support Windows 10/11, macOS, Linux, VDIs, and tablet platforms
- Provide Active Directory and Group Policy support
- Support business applications, SaaS tools, and collaboration platforms
- Troubleshoot and support MDM solutions
- Maintain and support standard and custom system images
- Aid with server, networking, phone systems, and VPN access
- Document solutions and help improve IT processes and standards
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate IT teams when needed
Requirements
- IT support environments
- Windows and macOS desktop support
- Active Directory and account management
- Office 365 and G-Suite support
- SaaS applications (Okta or other SSO, Slack, Zoom, Jira)
- MDM platforms (JAMF, Kandji, or similar)
- Ticketing systems and queue management
- Network and hardware troubleshooting
- VPN and access support
- Deployment, configuration, and maintenance of end-user devices

Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
