Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of technical support specialists within one of the organization’s largest service centers, supporting thousands of users.
- Perform essential system administration tasks for desktops and laptops running various operating systems.
- Provide hands-on installation, troubleshooting, and technical support for a range of hardware, including desktops, laptops, monitors, and personal printers.
- Offer remote assistance and phone support to efficiently resolve user issues.
- Manage the deployment and reclamation of computer equipment, maintaining accurate records within the asset management database.
- Document all work thoroughly in designated internal tools to ensure clear communication and historical tracking.
- Deliver exceptional customer support to all employees, fostering a positive and productive experience that keeps the organization running smoothly.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field AND/OR a minimum of 1-3 years of recent experience providing technology support in an enterprise-wide internal service center environment.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely to a diverse audience.
Skills
- A working knowledge of PC technical support for both Windows and Macintosh operating systems (nice-to-have).
