Technical Support and Spare Parts Engineer

Support activity related to Maintenance Repair Operations, North America Indirect Procurement, Spare Part Data Management, and Production Engineering purchasing to secure critical proprietary spare parts for all North American plants. Responsibilities include sourcing decisions (in-house, Honda, or approved suppliers), providing quotes, coordinating shipping and billing, supporting quality checks, and technical analysis of critical spare parts to optimize procurement strategies. Assist in plant technical training, repair validation, and support the creation and monitoring of spare parts inventory and rebuild processes to ensure quality standards. Collaborate with procurement and engineering teams to validate stock orders, localize parts, and communicate with Honda Motor for RFQs and order management. Provide technical support for D-Product issues, including troubleshooting, manual creation, and supplier training.Support spare parts logistics, inventory planning, and quality assurance for D-products and rebuilds.Assist in procurement validation, stock replenishment, and supplier selection.Ensure regional inventory aligns with quality standards and regional requirements. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related experience.0-2 years experience in manufacturing, with technical knowledge of HDMA D-products (weld guns, paint bells, machining gang-heads).Hands-on analysis ability, proficiency in Microsoft Office & SAP, and strong communication skills.Willingness to visit plant floors and suppliers as needed.
