About the role

The Technical Specialist role at ATG USA is foundational to the Technical Services organization. This role requires technical depth in at least one core vertical, with the flexibility to contribute wherever demand exists. The role involves executing Technical Services work across a variety of project types, disciplines, and customer needs, supporting demonstrations, and communicating with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Flexible Project Execution & Delivery
  • Execute assigned project work across a range of services and project types.
  • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and workload demands.
  • Contribute where the work is needed, not only within a single specialty.
  • Deliver accurate, high-quality technical outputs aligned to approved scope and standards.
  • Vertical Expertise & Cross-Disciplinary Capability
  • Maintain strong working knowledge in at least one primary vertical (experience across multiple verticals is preferred).
  • Independently produce work and clearly discuss approaches, decisions, and outcomes with customers.
  • Be capable of performing Scan-to-BIM and modeling tasks within the primary vertical.
  • Apply consistent modeling standards, accuracy, and best practices within assigned work.
  • Develop working familiarity with adjacent verticals to support collaboration and flexibility.
  • Technical Demonstrations & Customer Interaction
  • Support and deliver technical demonstrations related to services offerings.
  • Participate in customer discussions to explain technical work, workflows, and outcomes.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Represent ATG with technical credibility during customer-facing interactions.
  • Quality & Standards Discipline
  • Follow established workflows, standards, and best practices.
  • Perform self-checks and participate in peer reviews.
  • Identify and communicate quality issues, risks, or constraints early.
  • Contribute to reducing rework through disciplined execution.
  • Skill Development & Versatility Growth
  • Continuously develop technical skills across tools, workflows, and services.
  • Expand capability beyond a single vertical to remain effective and billable.
  • Participate in internal training, education initiatives, and knowledge sharing.
  • Work with Managers to identify growth areas that increase versatility and value to the organization.

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering technical or professional services in a project-based environment.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one vertical: Architecture, Structural, Civil, MEP, or Construction / VDC.
  • Experience across multiple verticals is preferred.
  • Ability to perform Scan-to-BIM and modeling tasks within the primary vertical.
  • Proficiency with relevant Autodesk tools such as Revit, ACC, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project needs and priorities.
  • Comfort discussing technical work with customers and internal teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Willingness to broaden skillsets beyond a single vertical.

Pay

This full-time role requires a minimum of 40 hours per week, with additional hours as needed to meet deadlines.

Schedule

The role requires candidates to be able to sit or stand for extended periods, travel between office locations (including those with stairs), and lift up to 30 pounds.
