Senior Electrical Technical Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Technical Specialist to join our team. This role involves performing engineering assignments under the direct supervision of a licensed engineer, designing tasks involving judgment in evaluating, selecting, and applying engineering techniques and procedures, and producing design drawings and construction documents using computer-aided design and other design software.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering assignments under the direct supervision of a licensed engineer
• Design tasks involving judgment in evaluating, selecting and applying engineering techniques and procedures
• Production of design drawings and construction documents through the use of computer aided design and other design software
• Preparation of design and quantity calculations
• Preparation of specifications and contract documents
• Other duties as assigned by the supervising engineer
• Coordination with other disciplines as necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• Associate's degree in engineering or related field of study or equivalent work experience
• A minimum of 15 years of engineering experience in the discipline to be supported
• Aptitude and demonstrated hands-on experience with computer applications specific to the discipline to be supported
• Extensive knowledge of industry standards specific to the discipline being supported
• Proven ability to work in multi-disciplinary environments
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.)
