Technical Specialist
Diversified Systems is searching for a Technical Specialist to provide advanced technical expertise and troubleshooting support to the R&P modernization team. This role requires a high-level technical specialist capable of independently analyzing ambiguous conversion issues, designing Windows-specific solutions, and providing expert-level troubleshooting support. Candidates should also be comfortable working with PowerShell or similar scripting tools to support automation and orchestration of SAS processes.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical expertise and troubleshooting support for the R&P modernization team.
- Analyze ambiguous conversion issues and design Windows-specific solutions.
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting support.
- Use PowerShell or similar scripting tools to support automation and orchestration of SAS processes.
Requirements
- 10 years of experience with Cisco platforms and technologies, including IOS/IOS-XE, Catalyst series, DNA Center, Identity Services Engine (Client), TACACS+, spanning tree, VLANs, QoS.
- 10 years of experience with installation, configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting of Cisco routers, switches, firewall platforms, wireless controllers, and access points.
- 10 years of experience implementing and supporting advanced routing, VPN technologies, port channels, and first-hop redundancy.
- 10 years of experience terminating copper and fiber cabling, validating cabling with testers/light meters, and managing rack infrastructure.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) required.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) highly desired.
- Knowledge of productivity and documentation tools (Word, Excel, Visio, SharePoint) for diagrams, procedures, and asset documentation.
