Technical Sourcer/Recruiter

We are designing the grid of the future! EPE is seeking a Technical/Engineering Sourcer based in Panama City, Panama, supporting global operations, to join our Talent Acquisition team and drive our continued growth.

About the role

This highly visible role will allow you to make a direct impact by influencing our brand and attracting top talent in the engineering space, particularly within electrical power systems, utility engineering, and renewable energy sectors.

Responsibilities

• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand technical requirements and develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies.
• Develop targeted campaigns to identify talent and create staffing fulfillment plans to address current and future needs.
• Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline of potential candidates for roles across EPE's global markets.
• Create compelling messaging that highlights the exciting opportunities and global impact candidates can contribute to at EPE.
• Utilize various sourcing and recruiting methods and tools (e.g., job boards, social media, professional networks) to engage and attract engineering talent.
• Foster strong relationships with candidates, ensuring clear communication and transparency throughout the hiring process for a high-quality candidate experience.
• Maintain accurate sourcing and screening notes and documentation within the Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS experience preferred).
• Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to effectively source and engage candidates.
• Advise the team on market and talent sourcing trends and insights.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience sourcing engineering talent, preferably within electrical power systems, utility engineering, protection and controls, substation design, generation interconnection, or renewable energy engineering.
• Able to quickly understand complex technical concepts and apply that understanding to build effective sourcing strategies.
• Expertise with passive sourcing techniques, including strong knowledge of Boolean searches, x-ray searches, and social media recruitment.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) required.
• Experience sourcing across multiple regions/time zones in support of global teams is a plus.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and integrity.
• Familiarity with employment laws, regulations, and best practices related to recruitment and hiring.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Location

This position will be located in Panama City, Panama. Occasional travel may be needed (10% or less).
