About the role
Bestzyme is seeking a Technical Solutions Manager (Sweet Protein) to serve as a critical technical expert and problem-solver in North/South America. This role acts as a vital bridge between customers, business development/sales, and R&D, driving commercial success and product improvement for our food ingredient line.
Responsibilities
- Visit customers to understand their needs and provide application solutions, tackling formulation and technology challenges.
- Troubleshoot for internal and external customers, providing technical support and aligning with regional BD/sales to meet sales targets.
- Collaborate with customers on new product development projects to help create new product concepts.
- Work with R&D teams to optimize product performance, refine testing procedures, and develop new solutions.
- Monitor industry technology and formulation trends, as well as competitive products, to support product positioning.
- Participate in industry exhibitions, technical forums, or customer seminars as a technical representative to convey product value.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Food Science/Technology/Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in application and formula development, technical support in food & beverage, food ingredients, sweetener, or flavor & fragrance industries.
- Strong internal and external communication skills, with a proven ability to quickly identify and resolve customer technical issues.
- Familiarity with ingredient and end-product regulations in the food and nutrition industry.
- Highly motivated, positive, and capable of working independently.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin) preferred; bilingual candidates are highly desirable.
- Must currently be based within the United States.
Pay
The estimated salary range for this role is $105,000 - $130,000 based on experience level.
